Education / Workstation guides

Learn the tools.
Make them yours.

A good place to begin is one clear workflow. Find your view, understand the order controls, then learn how the workstation keeps the record.

10 public product guides ยท Reading routes describe the software and its controls.

Your reading route

Keep the record.

Follow the record from a trade to its evidence, saved work and historical study. Keep observed results separate from hypothetical tests.

Read in this order.

  1. 01

    Logbook

The Logbook is the record of your trading. The Day lists what happened in the session, The Log keeps closed trades with your notes, and Calendar & Results shows your recorded results by day, as graphs, and compared between periods. Control to notice: The Day: the session's events in order

  2. 02

    Execution review

An execution review answers a simple question about one trade: what did I ask for, and what actually happened? The report keeps the original request, the application's observations, and the available fill evidence in separate sections. Practice reports identify their simulated execution policy. Control to notice: The original request, as it was sent

  3. 03

    Offline review

Your saved workspace is kept on your computer, separated by account owner. When you are offline you can still open it to review charts, drawings, notes and recorded sessions. Control to notice: Reopen saved layouts, chart history and drawings without a connection

  4. 04

    Strategies

Strategies takes you from ingredients to a tested set of rules: choose what the strategy looks at, review the rules it produces, run a backtest with assumptions you can edit, then step through the result on the chart. Control to notice: Choose ingredients such as candle and chart patterns and pinned indicator versions

Read / Try / Revisit

Give the controls
some context.

Read a guide, open the simulated workstation, then return to the reference when you need a specific detail.

Try the simulated workstation

The example is simulated. It sends no orders and does not connect a trading account.

Keep these distinctions in view.

  • Instrument browsing and chart inspection are separate from order staging.
  • A staged order is a draft until you choose to send it.
  • Recorded evidence, calculated readings and unavailable data have different meanings.
  • Historical tests and paper results are hypothetical.
